Anderson Campus for Educational Excellence (ACEE)
Anderson Campus for Educational Excellence (ACEE) provides customized, flexible approaches to education and child development that bring out the best academically in your child. We also emphasize development of life skills, specific to your child.
Our warm and child focused approach goes beyond rote learning to engage each and every student. ACEE's goal for our students is that upon leaving ACEE, your child is performing at a grade level higher than their age and grade. We accomplish this through encouragement and respect. Whether you are interested in tutoring services or a broad based approach that encompasses your child's overall schooling, we are here for you and your child.
About Us
Our Story
Tiffany Anderson, M.ED.SPED, started ACEE as a tutoring service for students with a wide range of learning needs and gifts who required focused support in various areas. She began by tutoring five students a few days a week. Word spread about the success of her model. In 2004, she expanded capacity and hired her first co-teacher.
In a matter of six months, ACEE had gained more students, and again more expansion was needed. The achievement of ACEE's success continued to lead to more parents wanting their children to be tutored.
To accommodate the demand, the Andersons moved to another living space, and hired two additional faculty. Again, the space was quickly outgrown and they began teaching small groups at the library in order to satisfy the need for ACEE's services.
At long last, in 2005, Tiffany made the decision to purchase a building to house the ever-growing number of learners. The current space was designed with ACEE's teaching model in mind and with room to expand.
Many of our current students are the children of ACEE alumni.
"If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn."
- Ignacio Estrada, Director for Grants Administration, Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation
Home Schooling
Parents were so pleased with ACEE, they called a meeting with Tiffany in the summer of 2005 and requested that she start a home-schooling service. At first, she was hesitant, but in time, a select group of parents began to design what is now an inclusive model with many learners. Her enthusiasm for the idea grew, and today, ACEE works with parents to design home-schooling programs for their children, most of who come to the ACEE campus for academics Monday through Thursday. Friday is reserved for teacher training, parent/student fun, educational “field trips”, and other experiential opportunities.
ACEE has a formal relationship with many of the surrounding umbrella schools and collaborates to ensure homeschooled student records, grades, and transcripts are ready for student success after graduation.
"The object of education is to prepare the young to educate themselves throughout their lives."
- Robert Maynard Hutchins
Our Process
Initial One On One Meeting With The Student And Family
- Consultation with parents regarding academic vision for their child's education. Determination of private tutoring or homeschooling options.
- Introduction and tour of the student/parents to the learning environment.
- Assessment of phonological awareness, vocabulary, writing, and mathematics
- Recommendations/observations from the testing session. (Ideas are presented to enhance student learning in both strong and weak areas of intellectual growth.)
- If tutoring is the chosen collaboration, a tutor is selected for the child who specializes in the need of that student.

We have been a part of the ACEE family since my child was in third grade. He struggled greatly with reading and I was at a loss in knowing how to truly help him. He and I were both exhausted and frustrated by the road block this reading deficit placed on his education....
